Hi
Most common ones used are
6s 2500mah
light weight makes the heli nice and snapy but limits flights to 3.30 to 4 mins
or
6s 3300mah not run this myself but theres quite a few people running this, longer flight times but a bit more weight to carry arround.
If your not doing 3D i would probably go for the 3300.

i dont know about the outrage i have not yet seen or used one.
The c/g should be ok alot of guys are running them on vbar machines and the c/g on them needs to be spot on. i am running 6s 2500 the pack is quite close to the front of the heli with a large amount of room behind it so i cant see it being an issue.

Aren't people also using a 6S 3700mah setup? There are lots of people trying to offload these batteries at dirt cheap prices (heck I even got rid of one recently for dirt cheap).

I'm liking the 6S 3300mAh. Balance-wise, it hangs about 35mm out the front of the battery tray on my setup.

At 2600rpm I run for 5 minutes and at 2450rpm, 6 minutes. I have never put back over 2200mAh, which is only a 67% discharge at most. They will hopefully last a long time at this rate.

I don't really notice the weight, but I'm not a 3D junkie.

I was getting 5 minutes of relatively hard flight on 6s Outrage XP25 3300's with the Scorpion 3026-1400kv in a vbar 400 at 2850. The weight was not a problem at all. This setup was as ballistic as my 10s 600 vbar, maybe more. If I had it to do again, I might go with 3000's for a slightly lighter feel.

One other consideration is that, all things being equal, larger capacity batteries will hold up better in the long run because they can better handle the amp draw. Check the temp on some of those 2500's next time you're at the field. I'd bet they average 20F warmer than a comperable 3300, or more.

Also, you could stretch your 400 into a 10 and still use 3300-3700's. Ofcourse, you could double your 6s 2500's and run 12s in a 10 too.

Whatever, just fly!

Wow you guys are running 3700s in a Logo 400?! That is what I have been running in my stretched logo 10 (550s). Doesn't that make it kinda heavy? I run 2500s in my Atom.

I've tried a ton of batteries and my favorite has been the Thunder Power Pro Power 30C 3300's.

They don't feel heavy at all with a Scorpion -1400 and a 19t pinion.
