Jeez,
Let's get it right out in the open....
I helped to proof the design of the Frenzy back when it was "to have no other name than TZ-V2."
It was designed by copying the Vibe, but using the existing spindle shaft, one way, TZ clutch, fan, and tail set.
Over time, the tail and gears were changed to give an even CLOSER design to the Vibe's Japanese belt driven model...

SO, please let's just close this freaking thread- because you can't handle the truth.
The TZ-V2 "Frenzy" is a direct knockoff of the Vibe, not a clone, but a knockoff in every sense of the word.
Argue all you want...I was there...I know the truth...I will accept it...I will admit it...

And I have all of the correspondence and credentials to back it up....

No one is arguing that this was based off the vibe, Just that its not an exact copy like people are saying. Not one part is compatable. If someone out there bought a frenzy and read that this is the exact same as a Vibe and they can interchange parts they would be disipointed. The frenzy is great for the price but no way is it exact or close to the Vibe in manny ways.

if a heli build base on other heli, what the F*** the different if you called it knock off/clone/... or whatever ... right?

sure i will copy the vibe motor mount but use rappy clutch and fan on it, and called it frenzy or frozen whatever,, who said it not clone or direct clone/ knock off

if it fly good and cheap i am sure it will be good for lot of pilot that dont have a deep pocket for $700/ $1000 something heli kit. the only bad effect JR can take it all.

i am waiting for the frenzy 3d 90 zise heli, with n9 head and aurora tail, i dont care it they repalce the auro tube tail with rappy belt tail.

Original question for this thread
Hey guys I am looking to maybe get a 50 size nitro bird and I lik the Vibe 50 and I also like the frenzy...just one question, I read in another forum that the frenzy was the same as a vibe 50, is this true? are parts interchangeable?
I think the whole point of this thread was to ask if the Frenzy is the same thing as a Vibe 50. You can argue all day if something is green or blue but the answer for this is no, and for many reasons (quality, no parts compatible, different designs, ect). I can see it now, Someone goes to the local field and sees a "Vibe", and rumors are around saying the Frenzy is a clone of the Vibe. Now this person buys the frenzy and on arrival get all disappointed with the information they received. RR should be a place for factual information, not for people just wanting to toot their horn. The facts in this case are the Frenzy is no way a Vibe, has some similarity's (Looks Only) but definitely not a Vibe. Keep in mind, for $220 compared to $600 its a great deal.

Well said twitch. Original question asked on the thread was, "Is Frenzy same as Vibe 50." And answer is definitely not. Did they intended on looking like one in order to boost the sale? Most probably. Regardless it is one of the best flying 50 sized heli for the price, and I would gladly buy another one, if I destroyed this one. It simply is great heli to learn 3D on. It is very capable and able to handle any 3d you throw at it. And cheap enough to repair or replace it with new one after inevitable crash that is bound to happen when you are trying to learn new maneuvers.

Have to stand up for my friend twitch. I don't really think that anything he said was grounds for calling him names, really bad taste. The Frenzy is more like a immitation than a direct bolt for bolt clone. Its main inspiration was the Vibe 50, obviously, but from what I've seen it still has its own 'look' to it. Props to a company putting out a 50 size for $220 while the big outfits are pushing $400 for their base models.

Thanks Rappy, Pirofreak, and Brian94066. Were I come from a Mans word and information spoke actually means something. For some unfortunately not the case.

I bought the Frenzy thinking the parts were compatible with the Vibe and they just arent in any way.
