Well I lowered my 700 stock head today. I cut off 8/10's of an inch off the main shaft. Re-drilled and tapped for the stock head. I am flying a stock head with the Mikado Grip mod. This is very cool I thought. By bringing the head in closer to the machine you bring the cg closer to the center of the machine. I would have never believed this but it made the machine noticeably faster when it comes to the cyclic. I was able to lower my agility by 6 points on the Vbar to achieve the same speed as before. This is great!! I guess if you think about it, we are making it even easier for our machines to move around in the air by bringing our cg’s closer to center hence less throw then of course less load on the motor achieve the same rates. This means even more power for other things. You know the more I play with the vbar the more I am seeing all the possibilities that are out there for new tricks.

Now it’s a matter of time to play with blades to find a good combination.

One note… that myself and 3 other guys that are flying trex 700’s with Vbar’s. Be sure to pin your boom or make sure its not sliding out. With the faster rates it seems that the booms work themselves out easier.

Kasama with the Mikado base. One thing on the Mikado base is that it's not tapped very deep. I stripped one of mine out fairly easy. With that I went on and drilled it out to the slott on it and tapped it through. This worked way better. Then at this point you can run a longer bolt to give you more of a piece of mind that it wont flex pluss it wont come out.

I Like the kasama it pushes the arm out a little futher and gives much better clearence.

Did you buy this set from Mikado

Are the black swash driver arms included along with the washout base and bladegrip extensions?
