Anyone else have this problem. No matter how many times I click I cannot logout. I am caught in a RR gravitational well.

You need to dump the cache.

Log out, close the browser

open a new browser, and type in runryder.com

Hell... I can fix that.
Uh oh..

I know I can go through all of that, thanks for the tip though. It just seems as though you should just be able to click logout. How many of us clear all regularly. This would make it appear that we stay on all the time.

If you have multiple accounts set up in your windows, the account you are using while logged into runryder may not be set to admin. I had this problem on a buddy's computer at his store. He kept multiple accounts on it so his workers could use an account to access stuff for the store and he had an admin account set up for himself so he could do certain things. The account for his workers wouldn't let me log out, but his admin account would let me.

Man, I miss the eighties.

I understand about dumping the cache,,,but and this is a big but---why is it that I can log out of msn or any other website but RR seems to keep me captive so to speak?

Did you delete the RR "cookies" i.e. I cannot log out of RunRyder

To fix logout problems you need to search for and delete all RunRyder cookies (How to Delete Cookies). After you locate your cookie directory(s), delete all cookie files with names that contain "runryder" and/or the IP text "205.134.230.242". After deleting all RR cookie files, reboot your computer.

I also know about deleting cookies...

My question is,,,probably for some computer person,,,,

Why does logging out of RR require so much additional work? Why can you not just click logout like I can with sites such as MSN?

Sorry, but when I click on myHOME then click Log Out

I'm immediately logged out and get the following;

Success
"You are now logged out of RunRyder."

So, I don't know.

But these days when a PC is not "dorked up" it's "simply magic!"
