Im just in the middle of switching to the Quick UK ball link kit for the main reason my align ones are worn out and I thought nows the time to upgrade .

Any way it says to replace all the balls on the swash with the short quick ones , but theres no new radius arms ?

I clicked my old radius arms onto the quick balls and as expected there hanging off nearly .

Dont tell me you need to keep the standard balls for here ? if so then im really dissapointed as I was lead to believe this upgrade kits was a full conversion

Cheers Steven

As with all Quick UK parts, they only come with what is pictured and listed in the description.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Make sure you purchase some short Rocket links for spares at the same time too..

Sorry but you have to use the regulars balls for the washout arms. that is the only 2 that stay stock. I guess you can say it is about a 96% full conversion kit.

yes I understand that but I did not relise this until fitting the kit.

They need to update the instructions as they tell you to replace all the balls on the swash with the short quick ones.

I wonder if these people flying there 700s like this

Same here.

I was very disappointed to find that the link set was not a "direct fit". Some of the balls are longer also which results in different geometry.
I was half way through fitting them, changed my mind & stuck them back in the packet in disgust!
What a waste of $$$ !!

I ended up fitting a new set of standard Align balls & links.
Slop returned after a mere 10 flights so I've decided to put up with it until she starts going out of track.
When that happens I'll explore options then.
Hopefully somebody will have a better fix.

Yes I thought they would have made a set of balls the same specs but better quality than Aligns.

It would have been nice if they made the balls the same size as Aligns so we could mix and match.

Disaster waiting to happen now , imagine if I sold the heli on and some one takes the head off not knowing that ive fitted 2 different size balls on the swash and they fit them back on the wrong ones

wow sure are some picky people on here. you really should just use the quick uk links and balls if u want to avoid the slop that the align stuff gets.

Dont think its being picky , if people dont bring up little quibbles with products then things would be alot worse.

End of the day its our money and we have a every right .

Another moan , sorry guys !!

Theres no way they should have supplied all those long links , most of the rods ive fitted them too ive had to force them all the way on , way past seeing any thread.

Can not under stand y they did not supply the shorter ones , I cut the ones for the short tail rod as I could not be bothered to cut the carbon tube ( short ones same size as aligns would have been perfect.)

Also like some one else said because the ball standoffs are different lengths it causes problems.
The links were binding on the back of my Align aileron servo horns very bad so I had to space the servos out to correct it

And my cyclic servos are the Align 610s so its not that im using odd size servos .

R well enough said , live and learn.

PS ive not yet finished the conversion so I may be back sorry (lol)

So I just got my kit in the mail, and havent had time to start yet. All the swash balls stay stock, is that it or is there more that I need to watch for. Glad that I saw this post first or I would have been really confused after I started.
