WASHINGTON – Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., steered millions of dollars in defense work to a campaign donor and the Pentagon went along with it, despite the fact that two convicted drug dealers had been deeply involved with the company.

The companies owned by William Kuchera and his brother — Kuchera Defense Systems and Kuchera Industries Inc. — have received $53 million in federal contracts in this decade alone.
This is the same Murtha that directed earmarks (didn't Dems claim earmarks were bad????) of 150m of taxpayer dollars over the last 10 years to an airport in PA that has 3 flights serving 20 passengers a day?

Anyone wanna guess the name of that airport in PA that Murtha sent 150m bucks in earmarks?

That's right, The John Murtha Johnstown-Cambria County Airport.

Due in large part to the efforts of Congressman John Murtha, 12th Congressional District, the Johnstown Airport has invested heavily in facilities and infrastructure, and continues to improve the quality and capabilities of their services and provisions.

The total federal investment was approximately $150 million. The Airport Authority recently changed the airport name as a tribute to the congressman.
I thought Dems thought earmarks were bad?

They are only bad when proposed by Republicans. Murtha is one that need to go away badly. He's also the one that calls our troops muderers and child killers.

Don't worry about it. Obama banned earmarks. Or, was that remarks about his ears?.
