I know this probably doesnt go directly in this section but here goes anyways.....

I flew 1 flight on my trex 600 nitro and everything went fine. Let it sit for about a half hour and flew my other stuff and I can back to it and I have no tx to rx signal? The heli turns on but no light comes on the rx? I tried to rebind it and it worked but then when I shut the rx and the tx down and turned them both back on I got the same thing...NO SIGNAL?

I havent yet been able to sit down and pin point the problem but I thought someone might have experienced this..Also it was my last flight for the day so no I didnt get to try the transmitter to see if if worked on my trex 500 or my plane. But it did rebind but then after I shut both radio and heli off to try it again..signal was gone...wont connect with each other?

---thanks

I had the exact same problem a year or so ago . Absolutely no explanation why it happened . I was out of town to fly with a couple of guys from here and when I showed up my 600N wouldn't recognize the TX . We tried to rebind it with no luck . So I had nothing to fly that day .

When I got back home and started to investigate the problem and all was well , now I had the WTF is going on attitude . I called Spektrum on the situation and was given no answer for the problem . I was a little leary of using the rx again but it's still working today .

So to answer your question , I don't know but it has happened to me .

If you're not living on the edge you're just taking up space !

Happened to me the other day. I'm using my Arizona regulator and when I plugged in my new 520 gyro to it, the rx would come on with solid lights but no response. Tried rebinding and no luck. So I unplugged the gyro and it worked. Rebound the RX and all good. The DX7 and RX are over 2.5 years old now and always been reliable, that was the first time I've ever seen that happen.

So my advice would be to unplug everything from the receiver, rebind and then turn on and start plugging things in one a time. My .02 cents.

Well I ended up rebinding it and all seems fine...I first tried my other models to make sure it wasnt the TX and my other models worked just fine...

The one thing I have noticed after rebinding it is that it seems way faster to link up? Before I had to wait probably 3 seconds before I could check to make sure everything works. But now its like 1 second and its connected..??

I guess Ill just give it a try...it seems fine...

The RX just needed to get to know the TX again. The TX was out hanging out at bars too much and hanging with buds while the RX was at home slaving away over a hot stove and they got distant. Will do it everytime.

Just remember to always turn the transmitter off then back on before re-powering the receiver. Probably nothing to do with your problem but if you don't the receiver may not indicate complete connection.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

I have just recently had the exact same problem. It seems to happen if you are plugging and unplugging items into the rx eg: during setup or change of electronic equipment. Unplugging everything including the sat rx and power cycling fixed the problem.

The rx seems to get confused and locks out which is unnerving but I've had many flights since and it's been rock solid.
