I'm looking for hitec servos that will fit in a mini titan e325 where you don't have to trim out where the servo fits. Would like one that has enough torque and speed for 3D. Hitec's hs-65mg is to big to fit where it mounts. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Just take the 15 seconds it will take to get the 65mgs to fit and you'll be very happy with the servos.

HS-65MG are great servos and as said it'll be worth it to fit them.

Still if you would rather not I've heard good things about the JR 285 servos.

I've been using my HS-65MG's for over a year pretty much everyday and still going strong. I am thinking about the JR digitals though, wondering if there is a difference in 3D or not.

I love my HS-65 servos in my mini titan. They are top notch servos in my book!

I second Fenderstrat on the HS56 servos with the MT. As a matter of fact, I have the HS56 all the way around, even the tail. Works fine for me the way I fly.

I would like to add something also, before the 65's came out people were 3d'ing with the 56's, they are fast(faster than the 65's) and plenty of torque in a CCPM heli.the reason the 65's became popular is because of metal gears, but in a MT it takes literally about 10 seconds to remove a servo(some helis they are inside frames),so changing gears is no big deal, and the gears are cheap.the karbonite gears also take more abuse then people let on,and I like having a "break point"anyway, since they are so easy to replace

I am not sure but the new 5056 digital may be metal gear,I'll look

edit, yes the 5056 digitals are metal gear

I would go with the JR 285mg if it were mine. My second choice would be the hitec hs-65mg

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!
