Just got a new Scorpion pinion for my 4035-560 motor, but to my surprise the pinion hole is a bit too wide for the 6mm axle and so the pinion wobbles when the motor rotates.. Shouldn't be this way, has anyone else had any problems?

No there should be no runout (wobble) at all.

Contact them and see what they say!

That figures.

Thunder tiger pinions were like that too.

You can get them a little better alligned by slobbering on the Loctite (green is best) and twisting them while still wet. As they dry in a minute or so it tends to fill the gap fairly equally. Better than just tighten the grub screws anyway. Of course don't tighten these until the loctit has set.

That's too bad. Scorpion does such good CNC work. They farm these out but it still reflects on them.
