I am converting my T Rex 500 to the flybarless with the SK360 and the Mikado head conversion for the 500. Just wondering where you are putting the unit on the 500? I planned on putting it on the shelf above the tail boom, but with the units orientation it is just a little wide to fit there. Any photos or ideas are greatly aprreciated. Thanks Chuck

I put mine on the top shelf and fit fine. Right now I have mine up for sale, but in the thread you can see a picture of how I did it.

Thanks jb. Mine is different then that. I have the place to plug the servos into and then have a place to plug the leads in that go to the receiver. Mine also has a sticker that says front it is oriented 90 degrees from yours if I mount it with the sticker or front forward as the instructions. Must be this is a newer model even though it is an SK360. I tried to take a picture but the camera is not working. When I get it to work will take a picture and post it. Thanks Chuck

Chuck, look in the manual about mounting. It says that the front of the unit is marked...but.. it can be mounted any way you want (upside down, sideways, backwards..) as long as it is lined up correct on the fore-aft axis. You just need to set it up in the GUI as to how it is orientated.

Just mount the thing so I can try it today!!!

Thanks Bob. I guess I was tired while I was working on it last night. Will have it finished up so we can try it today. I will call you later to see when you might be at the field. Can't wait to see how it flies. Chuck
