I am having trouble setting up the swashplate,I am using a pitch gauge and the blades and flybars are level until I plug the battery in and run the motor. When the blades stop spinning the swashplate and the blades are out of line and I would like to know is there an easy way to set up the swashplate and blades and keep them level, also the servos are not rising together when the heli is powered up please can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Cheers!!!!!!!!

swashplate
UK Newbe,
You have told me that you have installed a brushless motor in your heli. This motor has a 3 wire connection. Unplug any two of these wires. Then plug in your battery and set up the heli mechanicaly. Everything will ( should ) work except the motor. I have suggested to you before to check out[url=http://helifreak.com]. Take a look at "Finless Bob's Tech Room" and view all the videos in Trex 450SE
build. Here you will learn how to mechanicaly set up a CP heli as well as a lesson on pitch and throttle curves. You've also told me you
have an Airtronics RD6000 transmitter. It's most important that you have the correct "Swashplate" selected in the "Advanced Menu" I haven't heard from you about providing some numbers for your setup.
I hope this is of some small help.
Regards

Level the swash plate with a leveler, but before make sure that at half stick everything is 90 degrees. Then move up to set the blades at 0 degrees at half stick. I agree with watching the video on this.

lining the swashplate
Hi guys, good news I have sorted the swashplate problem, I reset all the servos and centered them. All I need to do now is properly setup my tx as it is running the heli in default settings, but at least I can make it hover. Could one of you please post me the recommended settings for the RD6000 sport and then I can get flying now rather than later.

Cheers Guys!!!!!!!!!!!
