Guys, I need your opinons... I have bought quite a few heli's, etc from Heliproz, and I have a tech question I need answered.
I received the Redline 50 engine & parts for a new NX 50 I'm getting ready to build, and while looking over the engine this am I noticed the front engine bearing/seal seemed to be sticking out quite a bit, and the output shaft had some play to it.
Upon closer inspection, the bearing seemed to be a loose fit...so loose, that in fact while holding the motor & giving it a few shakes...it came all the way out...should this not be pressed it? Also, the back & forth play seemed to be too much.
I contacted Heliproz yesterday, and their answer was to go fly it, or contact Thunder Tiger, which I am trying to do this am.
I know you can use bearing lock, etc., however this just seems to be too much of a loose fit...I would appreciate your help, as you all have answered questions, and helped me before. Thanks...

I'd be looking for a replacement, you really should have to heat the case up to remove the bearings.

Like Barracuda says if it was mine i'd return it unused for a replacement no way you want to start with an engine where the bearing is loose like that

Mine is like that too. I'll probably change the motor body and see if that helps.
