I just got off the phone with the salesperson and they quoted me 2800 plus 300 shipping.

I would really like to find someone that has one before i order as by the time i build a new PC and get a nice monitor setup ill be 5-6k into the system.

I guess its all relative being a full scale pilot if i flew this a few hours a week thats pretty "cheap" flying compared to flying my cirrus!!

Looks like it would be pretty fun, they say they are quite realistic.

ANyone go to Oshkosh last year and see their booth???

That sounds pretty cheap for what you get. I looked on a resellers website and it says it cost $10,500.00 plus shipping.

that one they build the pc and other stuff for you. Way overpriced considering you can build a good pc with the necessary equipment for 1500 easy.

I have spoke with the company directly and it is deffinetly 2800 plus shipping.

Ive searched the internet high and low and i see a few reviews by magazines and stuff but have yet to find a review by and end user. I did talk to one guy that has one but hes a reseller and i think he may give me a slightly bias opionon!!

He did have a pretty sweet setup that i want to copy. I want to go with 1 24" monitor for my instruments then a 80" projector for scenary and panoramic vision.

Im going to get rid of most if not all of my rc stuff so i can use my hobby room for a full simulator room!!

If you have a projector, you might want to have a look at the best Cinema screen made. Its a Stewart Cinema curved screen. I've seen one at my friends house and it looks better then the movies. He has the CW153S 153" diagonal. Its a few thousand but I think they are well worth the money if you like to watch movies and use it for your flight sim. http://www.stewartfilmscreen.com/re...esidential.html

I really like Flightgear. Link here: [url=http://www.flightgear.org]

It's free and while it is not quite as pretty to look at as MS flight simulator, it will run on a much lower spec PC and there are versions that run natively on Mac and Linux, which is how I first discovered it.

it needs something with multiple monitors. That dinky screen is pathetic relative to the rest of the simulator/seat.

Enjoy the little things in life, they make the big ones more enjoyable.
