Not sure if I should be posting here or the flybarless forums.

What's the lowest headspeed I can run my Flybarless (Vbar) Trex 500? Personally, I'd like the lowest headspeed possible WITHOUT degrading performance.

Thanks in advance.

Lowest
I would say 2500-2600

If you go too low it will be a dog

I myself prefer 2800-3000...

going too low may also induce some oscillations

but I'm sure there are people out there running lower

Do you think 2500 would give oscillations? Anyone out there running that low?

trial and error
Its an easy trial and error if you have a governor or just set the throttle curve a straight line and use offset to raise or lower headspeed with a dial knob. Thats why i love my 12Z.
