Jr3500G/401
Jr3500G/770
Have not tried the Spartan but have heard only good about them.

Do these blades make my tail look big?

I have 401's on 2 "JR3400's" and 1 "JR290".

They work very well.

401's...
The 401 works fine with the 3500g's ...

The gy401 works very well and really only reaches it's limitations when you start doing 3d like piro flips and piro funnels and fast backward flying mixed in with pirouetting...

The 401 holds the tail pretty well it just lacks in piro consistency through those moves...you willnotice it if you do piro flips...the tail moves faster in some parts of the rotation (inconsistent)

same with piro funnels...

This is why I recommended the Spartan ...it remains perfectly consistent through all those moves ...it's very small also...so it's great for small helis...
