@ Rich Thanks for the tips!

1. I do have the JR round servo horns that I will use w/ DS8717
2. Shims for motor, between motor and block or block and frames? I am going to assume it doesn't come with the kit, I haven't even opened the box yet.
3. tail output shaft being sanded for smooth operation I will definitely look into that, I went through hell with Rave with that and hated it! so I hope that works better.
4. Tail Control Rod, Bushings or tubing?

Will look into these issues,

Saul

Saul between blocks and motor, I prefer the brass. I used tubing once before and found it bunching up after a while.Official "Team Boobie Member" Nitro Rules sponsored by Visa, Mastercard and AMEX

For the motor shims between the motor case and the mount... The kit comes with two shims but a lot of us needed to make an additional shim since the stock ones did not provide enough clearance.

A few of us cut out some shims from a soda can. Worked out perfect.

@ Rich I meant brass tubing, has anyone tried heat shrink on these spots? Ok on shims between block and motor mount some are doubleing up on for correct alignment. Got it! Thanks again guys!

Some heli kits have Teflon heat shrink tubing. Takes a little more heat to shrink but does not bunch up like standard heat shrink. It also comes in a thicker wall dimension plus has the anti-friction properties of Teflon.Logo Xxtreme 800

Other than the guys that already responded do we have any more that have not spoke up yet.
Figure to add another 1/2 dozen from the fixed wing side.

Do we have any volenteers for the chili?

I can put together the drinks, bread, utensils etc......
