No planes have gone up at the heli side while heli was occupying the same air space. So, no problem there.

Even on the airplane side, no helis have gone up while airplanes were in air. So no problem there either.

During the spring-summer before the heli side became what it is today, we alway flew at the airplane side with no issues.

You just need to exercise mutual respect.

This is my biggest concern:

During the high point of heli activity, couple of years back, three heli extremists drove a wedge between airplane side and heli side. I took a flack for taking no sides as I do not believe in political dissension from a RC as a whole.

As heli membership grows this can become a reality again with one original instigator still among us while two were expelled from the club. I urge you to try not to draw a hard line trying to segregate.

Within reason, more should fly helis on not so busy days to mingle with airplane crew and foamy crew should be invited over to heli side to also mingle and create harmony.

^^GD that kid can smack^^ -- thanks Al

To the Heli Side.

Is there something I'm not getting here? I thought there were no problems and I keep seeing people on the posts talking about problems.

I thought this issue with the small electric planes was resolved.

If it is resolved leave it alone -- it's done -- move on

If it is not resolved could someone please fill me in?

Thanks -- j

Its done, move on.

Lets just follow the guidelines. No larger than stryker sized 36-38", foam construction and electric powered only. As usual respect the airspace and tree line. Lets not give them any reason to complain.

End of story.

If we all get as good as Daniel we will not need a lawn mower on the heli side.

ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS.what have you done?
Since there are no names attached to this, I do not know if this directed at me or not. But, based on your actions, I'll assume it it directed at me.

Apparently not much. However, I would not stand for dissension.

Let me make two things clear.

1. No individual has authority to tell another memeber to leave the club or as you put it. "We (perhaps only you) don't need you here."

Are you going to deny saying this too?

2. Your self appointed non expiring SO/FL status isn't big enough to order anyone to "Shut up"

For the rest or RCRC.

This trouble all started years ago.
When Justin was first being tested for solo way back when, I approached Ali (best pilot back then) to test him for the proficiency test. After it was all done, Mark called me over and asked "Why did you go to him when I'm the Flight Leader?" I said because he was the best pilot who can asses skill level in my mind.

Right after Justin's 2007 accident, Mike Fortin started a rumor regarding below.

https://rc.runryder.com/t433424p1/

At that time, it was nor right time or place to respond to his accusation. So, I stayed quite. I was told by RCRC board that Justin needed to be on a buddy box from now on. Mark would not even confirm the validity of the story from the source and went to the board for this action. I quickly explained the false rumor and reversed the decision. When I confronted Mark, he said "Because you did not respond I thought it was true." That was one lame excuse.

This was a big blow from a fellow club member but I would not expect any less from him.

These situation continued on and I'm just fed up.

Time out guys.
We have a good forum here on RR lets not do things to get the RCRCC section closed down. Any old history should be just that. Any personal comments if directed at any particular people should be done via PM.

Lets get back on track.
