It's not plastic, it is space age German composit.

At least that is what I keep telling myself.

Stating heli specs isn't a "low blow" in my book...

...in my book a low blow is - hold on have to look it up, ah yes here it is - in my book a low blow appears to be receiving fellatio from a midget.

The other thing that comes to mind is binding. It looks like it bent before it snapped. What were you in the middle of doing when it freaked out.

Yes sh_t happens but it's nice to find out why so we can prevent it from happening again.

To me it looks more like the swash link was damaged in the resulting crash. If that link was 1st to go, then how did the intermediate link get bent?

Nope...sounds more like a V-Bar lockout to me.

Woo hoo....here we go.

Actually, sorry for the loss TattooArtist. I shouldn,'t have fun at your expense...but THAT felt GOOD!

Now seriously, lockouts don't happen with v-bar right? Couldnt have been that. So, who programmed that thing anyhow? When was the last time a laptop was hooked up to it?

Heh heh.

Sorry about the crash Alex. Not a good way to start off the year.

Several weeks ago when Alex went down to what looked to be a lockout. Vbar log did not show and items that would have been the cause.

Agree about the intermediate link, posible from impact but may also be from not having the cyclic ring value adjusted correctly. Could have been right on the edge of mechanical binding and the move he put on the heli caused the linkage to lock up.

But on the other hand I don't think the servo has enough torque to bend the intermediate link (could be wrong) so i am back to crash damage on the links.

Sorry about the crash Alex
