Am building a .60 size heli for use as a trainer. Is the TT .70 decent enough to use? I have heard so many differing opinions on this engine. It is only to be used for hover and FF. being so much cheaper than the OS, I am inclined to give it a try. I know how great the OS is as I have one in my personal Rappy .60. I hate to spend the extra 100 bucks on something that is basically a beater though. Thoughts?

The TT70 engine runs well you just have to make sure to keep them cool .They will not produce the power a OS does. It is a little more finicky to tune but once you learn the tricks of the motor it all comes easy after that.

I'm running the TT .70 on my Raptor 60 with no problems. I'm gonna keep running it through the summer then upgrade to the TT Redline .106. and turn mine into a 90.

I ran a TT70 in a R60 for years also and never had an issue. I also ran one in a MD 500/R60 scale ship and it ran perfect.
