Check out this bird seen at my buddies house>>>>>

About the same size and shape of a Peacock. Got to be in the same domesticated family?

It had almost 2 inch long spurs on its legs and looked like they could do some damage.

It walked near his house from of nowhere just minding it's own business and my friend snapped this pic.

Any idea what it is?

A type of pheasant, not sure what species though.

I thought pheasant too. Peacock are in that family...upland game.

I would ask the neighbor who lost it what kind of pheasant it is.
I don't think it is native to north american

Yeah we live in a rural area and somebody is looking for that thing for sure. We have a very small local country radio station that will announce lost and found pets/animals each day when you drop by the station and pay a couple bucks.

If the rightful owners don't show up, can anybody recommend a nice side dish?
