Hey all,
What are some good tips to controlling a consistent piro? When the heli is continuously spinning around how do you keep it in control or move it around. I just want to be able to move it around while pirouetting. Does anyone have any good tips to do this or to even start learning to do this? Now, I just try to keep a good eye on what way the heli is drifting and then at the right moment I just tap the opposite direction to stop it from going to far away. I'm sure this method isn't going to get me to far. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

If it is just piro-ing, you can either use nose for correction or the tail. Let say you want to move to right from a stationary piro, then watch for the nose to go right and push elev ever so gently and briefly. If you need more speed, you push the elev at the same spot the next time the nose comes around again.

Learn FF, backward, inverted, inverted backward, then sideways flight (all four) , do this with curcuits, then figure eights. Piro stuff will then come easy.

Start with piro circles, then 8s and loops. Make sure you practice with both CW and CCW piros. Develop a good sence of loops with different radii so you can develop them into piroflips and ultimately control the axis of rotation. A consistent piro is simply about maintaining a constant rudder input as you change collective while synchronously stirring the cyclic.

Awesome! Thanks for the tips guys! I can do them for a min but then I have to stop the heli and start over once it gets a little out of control. Thanks again! I'll keep practicing.
