When I set up my speedy should I set the timing to medium or high???.

Ill be useing the 13t pinion with the stock motor/esc combo.

On my 600e I have it set on medium with no issues but cant find anywhere in the 500e instruction manual as to which one to set it to.

(while im at it, if I set the servo voltage output to 6v Il also need a step down reg to my gyro servo like my 600e I take it?.

Thanx.

I have the 500esp and my setup is,Brake disabled,Mid Timming, Batt low cutoff,Soft start NO GOVERNOR !!!, Throttle response Quick, BEC output is at 5.0 volts. My servos are stock Align and the motor is stock and using a 9650 servo and A 520 Gyro on the tail which will take up to 6 volts but is plenty fast using 5 volts. When you run thru your setup dont use the governor mode or you be chasing a tail wag. Dont need it anyways because your throttle curve should be at 100% straight line with your idle ups.Even at normal mode I have my throttle curve at mid stick is around 70%. This heli likes high RPM. Have fun.
