Flew the vision yesterday and over all it was ok . my head is still tight because of the ball links i did try to size some but went to far with the sizer only two turn and they fell off with cyclic stirs so had to replace them . and after that was scared to size them as i didn't have any more. I am hopeing that after a few more flights they will wear in and free up the head so i can get the response from the head that I know it can give I have put the links on the outer hole on the fly bar is this right for 3d flying the manual is vague on this matter So what do you guys think will it become an animal once every thing frees up and what ball are you guys using on the fly bar?

I know I used lock tight why did my head explode

First impressions were for me to ask for my money back but doesn't look like its going to happen! Seen as im stuck with it I too would like to know what the different ball positions on the flybar do?

im liking my Vision

besides a few bumps here and there (and some sh*tty bearings in the tail) she flies pretty good. tried the Thunder Tiger lightweight paddles as they were a tad lighter and larger than stock. all she needs is some faster paddles and it will be rockin. still not sure what the deal is with the 2 ball link positions on the flybar

Andy Hornyak (see youtube) says he has them on the inside ball.

guys think.

inside ball will increase throw.
you need less throw to receive the same pitch.

Meaning.. faster respond if links are move in at the flybar, and out at the lever

well no one knows for sure but i beleave that the inside balls on the fly bar make the fly bar less stable and that should inprove cyclic responce. I have put them on the inner balls now and will test them tomorow. will report back after that.

I know I used lock tight why did my head explode

Moving the links to the inner hole gives the flybar less authority and increases cyclic for 3d .However doing this makes it more pitchy in fff.Good thing about this is you can change flybar ratio in seconds. Align carbons work well on this model.

Ok so inner balls on flybar for faster cyclic but what about the lever holes? Only the outer hole has a hexagon hole for the nut does that mean you shouldn't really use the other holes?

think of the mixing arms like servo arms....the farther out you go the more throw achieved....or the closer you go in the less throw you get.

That is true but is it more movement you want for 3D or less movement? I would guess less movement of the flybar as that would make the heli more unstable making it better for 3D?
