You'll want to buddy up with Skiddz, Your gonna want the turbine waiver which isn't that big of deal but you'll need it at clubs. Just proves your capable of firing that thing up at a club with others around, takes 2 ama waiver holders to test ya. Doesn't have to be a scale and if i remember right, Skiddz offered the pod & boom, his waiver and his friends waiver.

I'm excited for ya dude, your just about there, keep after it

James,
When I was spraying my old VOLVO 343 when I was a teenager, I was told by a proffesional, preparation is the key to a good paint job.

I masked my car in a half a day, the guy was amazed when i phoned him, and said it was ready, he came over and made me take it all off and do it with more care, as he said this stage is key..

Made me think when you said you spent 6 hrs, the effort will pay off I am sure.. I really look forward to your finish, I have learnt a lot more about prep from your thread and others comments.

quote: from Lewma Kloner/James

I'm already an AMA member, and previously a Palomar RC Flyers member. I was just wondering if there was any land that James was using close by.

When I get my Cobra to a flying point, I was planning on joining palomar flyers again.

Hi Mark & Steve
I have joined Palomar rc club that's not far from were i live.

I only fly my turbine at my friend home with two acres, its all green grass nothing dead to catch fire plus its my freinds place i have known for 20 years .

the 3D effect i noticed looks very real from a distance
I spent a lot of time making the paint scheme to look like the real one it's not perfect but it's very close im happy .

Keep in mind i still have more work to get done before i can give it the final clear coat.

HI James
Just checking in on your thread to.
Nice scale pieces there mate, they are gonna look the nuts.
I presume that sarcophagus is a container for your machine

Looks to be a lovely machine James, despite the ups and downs of life you have experienced over the past few months, that is a lovely job and one to be proud of mate.

here a picture of the bird in its display case. keep in mind it will have plexiglass for windows and the case will be black PS the tail section fits just fine also will show some pictures of it also
