I did a search but I am having no luck. I know someone has to have this info. Does anyone have a diagram on how to hook up the rudder with the voltage regulator?

I somewhat know that the signal has to go to the unit and the power and ground straight to the servo. Right? I do not want to mess it up.

Thanks for any help,

Jim

Something looks wrong with that diagram. It shows the signal wire coming out of the v bar tail servo output and going to the RX. That will not work It looks as if RX and SV are backwards. Signal from rx should go to the rudder input on the vbar and output tail signal from vbar should go to servo. Right? That drawing does not look right at all.

Here is how I think it should look.

Could someone please confirm that this is right.

It is right in my head anyway

Chuck,

In your diagram you show a power and ground going from the input side of the v-bar to the output. Is that needed?
I am trying to set up my harness. And I do like the solderless approach.

I lifted the pic from the user's wiki.. I think it originated with a guy that goes by "fireup", Kevin? on HF.. You only need it if you are running higher voltage through your reciever, (2s Lipo) It is to isolate the power going to the rudder servo. It's what i used to wire the rudder servo on my E Synergy w/ V Bar and AR7100.

On another note. One of the guys i fly with told me if you don't run the power into the 7100 through the power leads it dosen't go through the onboard Regulator. I'm running a Jive 80 HV and using the Bec. so my power is going to the reciever through the ESC wire.. Anyone heard of this?

7100 rx & jive 80hv bec
I'm in the process of wiring up my Jive bec to my jr 7100 rx anybody know the best way to go about this. I was thinking of splitting the power wires of the esc throttle lead and the secondary bec lead together and hook them up to the power lead on the rx, and put the throttle signal lead off the jive to the throttle port of the rx. Any ideas?
