I am looking to upgrade my cyclic servos on my 500. I have the hitec 82mgs. They seem to be wearing out every little movement on the cyclic controls and it wants to shake or drop a little. It is just time to upgrade. I was thinking about going with the hitec 5245mgs. Dont want to spend more than $60-$70 each on servos. Any good suggestions.

I thought the futaba s9650 servo had nylon gears? At helidirect they are $64.99. I definetly want metal gear servos.

Sorry, my bad. They do have plastic gears in them, but they are rated at 62oz of torque.

Hi tech 225mg for about $45 bucks.
The Hitec HS-225MG are analogue servos and they cost around $27.99. The HS-5245MG digital servos are probably what your after and they are around $47.99 each.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Right on. I think I will go with the 5245mgs. I just like the metal gears. Just in case.
