A few years back someone hacked into my old yahoo account and changed my password. I had forgotten about it and then I started to think about it the other day.
I knew a guy once that told me there were ways to get in back doors. I gave him my email address and he sent me an email from it. He wouldn't tell me how he did it.
Its not like I absolutely have to get into it, but there were some pictures and such that I cannot get back as well emails from people that are no longer on this planet.
So how possible is it to recover my password? I called the yahoo number and none of my info except the alternate email was correct, evidently whoever did it changed some things. So that route didn't work.

Maybe the Yahoo people believe you if you can describe the mails and photos you are looking for. If they also appear not to be there he also removed your stuff and it's not worth spending more time on it.

When I called I asked if I could do just that. The woman said they didn't do that. Not that big of a deal. I was just thinking about it.

Well after 3 years I got my account back. It took a lot of emails to yahoo to get it. The person that hacked it deleted all of my emails, and changed all my information. But they left an alternate email address. The owner of the email apparently lives in the next city over. What are the chances of me getting hacked by someone 9 hours away and 3 years later I move to the next town over?

Problably the same odds that the person used to live within WiFi range of your house before he moved

Let's just say I've put my 'figure' in Jenny Craig's hands and leave it at that.

And no matter what, it will never again be a 'figure worth dying' for, so put down the bullets and step away from the gun, fella.
