Hello Guys,

I Have on my T700 a flight power 2S2P 3000 mah RX battery.

Today at the field I Had some strange things happening on the control at the 4 th flight, I put back 1000 mah in the battery. It's an average consumption of 300 mah per 10 mn 3D flight.

At that moment the I was on the last green led of the align controler (turning orange under load).

How many safe flight can I do with this 3000 mah battery???

Thanks

Yannick

the only true test is by using a load meter....under a 1 amp load stop fly, IMO, is 7.0V

Glad you found the problem, but I am always in favor of using a digital volt meter that puts a load on the battery like the Fromeco 8-Ball. On a typical 6v setup You should easily fly 6-7 flights, or more. 300mah is normal consumption too. So when your battery shows 7.4v on a 1amp load, fly one more flight and then recharge. That is what I do and have never had a power failure yet. Good luck.

Yannick, I too was ready to change to a larger battery but then I though about the change in CofG. I can swap out the smaller, lighter battery in the time it takes my sullivan fuel pump to fill the tank. It's no big deal to change it every 3 flights. My 700 balances spot on for me with the Align 1900 pack. I to average about 300-350 mah per flight. I could push it to 4 flights but why risk a pricey heli when I have a couple batteries.

The beatings will continue until morale improves...

4 flights should barely touch that battery and I think putting back 1000mah is about right. I think you have a problem somewhere else.

Dont go off the LEDS on the Align unit, they are known to be wrong. Get yourself a good load checker. 3.7v per cell is where I recharge. You should get at least 7 flights safely with 3000mah.
