Here is everything you need to convert the body and boom to HBK3, using your old electronics and head.

EK1-0450 Main Frame
EK1-0449 Tail Slider Arm
EK1-0443 Tail Servo Mount
EK1-0408 Tail Blade Control Slider.
EK1-0447R Tail Boom
EK1-0455 Tail Box.
EK1-0437 Tail Belt Rollers
EK1-0442R Vertical Fin
EK1-0566 3*7*3 Bearing for tail

Everything else you can just salvage from your V2 Frame. I ordered parts but at that time there was shortages and was unclear on what comes with what. This should make thing easier. V2 Canopy just fit fine.

Head parts are different but based same design. The Center hub is the same but its one piece and more solid.

I don't know if it fly better because i'm not a good pilot anyways.

It does make it easy to put together, less parts, Motor mount stiff and don't give me meshing problem, also I don't need to put spacer to mount he motor.

As my other post said.. blades blew out on me and did destroy the frame. I think on any heli when blades blew out on the ground it causes a lot of damage.

Yeah, I think Esky fixes a lot of issues with V2 frame on this one. Best part is a lot of V2 parts still work on there.

I think they should have went with 12mm boom so you can add Trex Clone tail on there.

One note on assembly, make sure to put the belt guides on the frame sides before you screw them together. Else you will be taking them apart again.

Also got to make sure that servo that you going to use will fit in the slots.. my HXT900, I have to cut the slot completely open and end up using double sided foam tape to keep them in place.

I guess I can grind the servos to make them fit but those HXT are thick.

How do the HXT900's compare to HS55?

55s suck! I seriously can not understand why anyone runs them The s3114 are so much better even with their other short comings.

Of course the the 55s do fit well. From what I can see though, the HXT900 will not fit the King3 frame. The tabs are too thick. The Align 410s have the same problem.

HS55 I wasted money on them! After I use HS55 I don't even want to touch any HiTec Servos I don't care what anyone says!

after a few flight with 55's, they started to jitter and jumpy, I dump them and got HXT900 instead, Yes HXT are cheap and they have share of issues like centering but who cares they are CHEAP and Good! You can get 9 for price of 3 HS55's.

With HXT900 Centering problem get better once you start to have a tons of servo horns, just try all on one servo and match it up with one that center the best.

This time I think I'll completely cut the bottom of the HXT and install on Frame with double sided foam tape.

I only ask about 55's because I have them already - this was before I knew about the 3114's, but those will likely be the next servos I buy - they are even the same price...

I usually dont say anything to people trying to save money.I know how it is trying to save some $$$.but stop being cheap on the servos, you get what you pay for

ZAW dont judge hitec by the junk servos you have used, the hs 56's and 65's are great servos.you can keep spending 5 bucks or whatever for a servo and keep buying them every little crash or stall or spend the money once and be done

my hs 56's in MT are over 2 years old(and I BOUGHT THEM USED!!!!!,I've had them for OVER 2 years ), have over 3000 flights been crashed many times and are still going strong.

I dont see how you guys expect to get any precision out of your helis using garbage servos that dont center and wont hold.and you are then adding cnc metal to get more responce.

use good servos ONCE,just ONCE, and get back to me on your 5 dollar servos

think about this, add up what you have spent on "budget"servos and consider that I think I got all 3 hs56 's shipped for 50 bucks used and they have been in my daily flyer for 2 years
