Same here...

Very nice clip and scenery, like especially the scenes above the clear water...

Nice! I was having issues with the play bar on Vista/IE.

I'm saving my pennies for a front mount solution :-)

Cheers,
Jeff

Nice Jeff! Is that 5dmk2 footage? If so it doesn't seem like you have any rolling shutter issues. How would you rate the 5d in terms of it's predictablity in getting a solid shoot without "jello?" I'm debating on weather it would be a good back-up to my HPX170, which I've been very happy with. Plus it would be nice to have for ground work. Thanks for any insight you can offer.

^^^^^^^The 5D is certainly more sensitive than the Panasonic. Not sure how to quantify it, but perhasp 20% harder to get a perfect image. Part of that is due to the fact that it is just so much sharper than the HPX, and for whatever reason, you could strap a Panasonic to a paint mixer and still get a clean image.

If it was me I would stay with the P2. But if you have a quiver of Canon glass then at least rent the 5DmkII an see if you like it. Or wait and see what video capabilites they throw on the 1D MK4ish. (60fps at 1080P would be a nice addition)

Cheers,
Jeff

Jeff,

I used one of my computers and this one is on Windows XP Ver. 5.1 Sercice Pack 2.

It must be too old of an OS so not sure whether you should count me in your survey .

I'll try viewing your nice video on my Mac .
