Tested the razor today on 10S and Z power. I have to cut the speed control to 50% to get a head speed or 1700 at that I flew for 12 minutes and only took 50% of the batts. I put back 3800 back into a 8000 mah pack. I think I can get at least 17 minutes which is what I am getting on my Joker 2.

I have to tell you I have flown most 600's out there and the Razor has proven itself over the other for stability and reliance. My Align 600 on 6's is only getting 3 to 4 minutes on 5000mah packs. I wanted to go to 6's so that the heli would be lighter and only have to use one pack but couldn't get any length of time or reliability. I smoked 2 batteries after only 4 minutes of flight.

Don't know what type of battery you are flying with. I fly with a 12.8 lb t-rex 600 and I get comfortable 5 mins and 6 min no problems. If I am not flying the wide chord curtis blades, I can get 7 mins with 5000 mah. But I fly only 5 to 6 min on average.

Isn't 10S too much of voltage for a Razor?
The way you are cutting the throttle down to 50% is kinda telling me that. For the best efficiency, I guess you should be running your set up around 90%. With 50%, you will be wasting power.

I wondered that and I can run it at 90 % with a head speed of 2100. it just seemed to high for my taste. I will try a different gear ratio and see what flight times I get.
