I am interested in this as well. I found the same problem on mine, I ended up making sure to loctite both sides and leave them loose enough for free movement. It sure seems like we should be able to snug the screws down. Its almost as if the collar on the screw is not quite long enough.

Maybe a washer?

When I had my trex 600 nitro I got a club memeber to show me haow to tighten this. You tighten one side against the seesaw and then take your hand and squeeze the other side back toward the seesaw. You then tighten it down. It is tricky but it works. If you want to do the cut down thing then file the ends of the cross bars evenly with a file and measure each time. you will want to measure the gap first and divide it into two. File the little bit of material off each side. Repeat on the other. I did it both ways and they both worked great. The oly problem with the shim is you get the flybar holder off to one side that way. Either of the above things should help.

Fly it like you stole it!

Assuming you have the plastic seesaw holder, push the bearings out and make sure there isn't a piece of plastic flashing (a burr) preventing the bearing from fully seating. If you heat the seesaw holder with a heat gun first (warm not hot), the bearings will come out easily. While the bearings are out, also measure the depth of the holes to determine if one side is deeper than the other.
