I just picked up a couple of these heads last night to try out

First Impression....VERY VERY nice head...

the Quality, Fit and Finish is SWEET!

I can see that this head is definitely a good option for ANY 50 sized heli...

8mm spindle also

ALL METAL swash driver as well

See pics

Raptor 50
Hi Guys,

Has anyone put this flybarless head on a Raptor 50? If so, how'd it go? Any problems?

Thanks

Grant

Flybarless heads...
ALL flybarless conversions are basically the same...you can use any 10mm shafted head on any 10mm heli....

The Raptor is no exception....you could easily use the Outrage or RJX heads and be happy...

I've been there the past FEW business days. I refuse to order until they are actually in stock. I've also seen of some people using their stock 550 head and turning that into a flybarless head.

Benefits/drawbacks to each???

Flybar = Instructions
I was told that the elimination of the Flybar was equivalent to eliminating instructions. You are on your own, just like your servos are for dealing with the lack of cyclic amplification.
