That engine was run lean most of the time, Does not matter where the needle was set.

Maybe the bearing broke. But it was running lean way before that, that amount on varnish on the piston is the proof. The whole piston is brown !

there is nothing wrong with the bearing as i said before ,its the piton ring that broke

Not so long ago I had a piston ring break and cause exactly the same damage.Replaced piston , ring and sleeve as well as the bearing since the motor was open in any case. Run her in again and she's as good as new.I'm still running the orignal dinged head.
