OK guys Think about the subject line before you post it.

I just got smacked up side the head because I was reading about SHOOTING BABY AUTOS it didn't matter what an auto was because we were shooting there babies

You know how woman are the words shooting & baby require an automatic smack so watch what your doing

Just got back from flying and made a mental note to observe the tail from a mini auto. My tail swings maybe 4", then holds. (770, 9254) No noticeable swing at all from a full auto. Like I said before, I think 45 deg is a little much and you may want to go over the tail set up again. Do you see the same behavior on both birds, or more on the 30? I would think the undriven tail on the 30 may be more likely to swing.

Maybe shooting is not the best terminology

I don't understand the terminology "mini-auto" vs "full auto"?

I thought a mini-auto was just close to the ground. Why would the tail behave differently depending on altitude?

Maybe because doing them from altitude you are carrying a little forward momentum, and from close to the ground you are in a true hover.

That would be my guess.

Just take it up higher and do a high altitude AUTO
They are more fun, and for practice flip it back out of hold if you dont feel comfortable

t hold
I had the same issue with a hurri 550 and that gyro. Turned out to be a gain issue when I was switching to t hold. check the radio settings in normal vs. t hold mode.

I meant to do that!!!
