NO. Green loctite cures so quickly it's doubtful you could get the paddles screwed on quick enough. I assume the V paddles are CF? If so, just use blue, or a SMALL amount of red on the grubs going into the paddles.

green loctite is a retaining compound! its not meant for screws. its used to keep a collar held in place on a shaft.

there is more than one formula, just make sure you have the right one. the other kind is a thinset and more of a sealant.

only way ill ever make the jack is if i work at a cheese factory

I understood the Green to be for penetration, meaning a situation where the threads are already together or in a press-fit scenario. Is this in-correct?

Were did you hear this? I have never known loctite to destroy plastic it just doesn't hold well. If you have some documentation I would like to see it. maybe I have been informed wrong.
