After keeping on practising using the sim, I am going to try the Tic-Toc with my Evo50 in real life. My question is that is the stock dampeners good enough for this maneuver .. as I am afraid the blades might have hit the boom. Please let me know.

I've flown a stock evo 50 without any trouble in tick tocks or other maneuvers, the stock dampening is a little soft but I don't think it should be a problem. Check on the ground of course, try bending a blade down towards the boom, make sure you have enough head speed and that your main blades aren't too loose.

Yes but if you notice it bobble a bit at the extremes you can change out the stock with Infinivation and it will fix that.

I assume Infinivation is still around. Haven't heard the name lately.

I've been pushing my Sceadu lately wanting to know how far it'll go.
It will take tic-tocs like an angel.
But if you want crisper moves try putting Washers in between the Yoke and Grips so it's harder.

I have been told previously here that stock dampeners will not do if you do it hard.
The gentleman that told me , had his blade grips break on the air as he was doing it, or blades struck the tail, something like that.

I replaced them just in case.

But it's not the first time I hear stock is not suggested. I am just stating what I was told.

Assuming you actually know how to tic-toc. Most beginners at this maneuver will use far too much collective and will bog the head. This can have negative results, especially with stock dampers.

Most of the simulator models have significantly more engine power than the real thing. In my experience, I have to dial the simulator model engine power down to 75%-80% torque to get the simulator to "bog" equivalent to my Evo 50. If you've learned tic-tocs in the sim, chances are you aren't managing the collective enough.

I recommend using the Infinivation dampers, and go easy on the collective to keep the headspeed up.

It will tick tock but with a bob at the end of each.
Just makes it look weird.

I would recommend changing to Infinivation dampers.
Will never go back to stock afterwards..

Put in a governor. Will prevent bogging and overspeed.

I finally hold my breath to try it in real life and I manage to do three consecutive tic-tocs. Actually, I would seriously consider them as three separate tic-tocs as I lose the rhythm in the toc part and need time to recoup. There is in fact a few seconds of pause in between each toc-toc which makes it look bad. I am using the cheapest 3x JR DS537 servos for the SWM cyclics. Will I get improvement if I upgrade to faster and power servos like JR DS8717 or are the fast servos merely make the rhythm faster?

If you don't have a governor, you may wish to get one. Tic tocs can rob head speed very quickly without good collective management. I'm not sure the specs on your servos, but my main evo has .17 speed and the heli does tic toc. I'm still learning that maneuver, but I do think its adequate. Also, as a cheaper alternative to 8717 servos, I suggest the align 610s. A lot cheaper and close enough in specs for most people not to notice the difference.

Man, I miss the eighties.

That video shows the evo 50 at its best , smooth moves great flying , people think the evo wont do 3d , it will , maybee not with the snap of a vibe or rex , but it just looks good , great job. I love my evo.

Servos are the key item I really would like to know, or is it just solely practice I need to build up the skill set for this maneuver? I thought slow and less poweful servos will just make the rhythm slow overall and yet the manauever is completely do-able.

Lots of practice , good servos will help but its all about collective management , I have the stock hirobo dampners in a quick uk head and its plenty stiff enough for me . im using the ace ds 1313 servos and they are more than good enough for me.
