i think we are the only pilot listing the rjx machine at the masters.i think that this may be because of aligns offer..as in you win money if you are placed third or above in the expert class and 5 or better in the masters also a possible sponsorship deal,

I think the Xtreme could do a lot better sales wise if RJX had a big name pilot flying for them......Look what it did for align
I believe that frank is not interested in sponsoring anyone (known big guns that is) as it is too expensive. I personally think it would be money well spent.. I remember it being said that they didnt want to have to pay anyone to fly there helis, They wanted people to WANT to fly them....

and i do feel Frank is on the right pace. pilots will know Xtreme is a top-clss heli. And it is flown by many top class pilots as weel. And they do know the heli is awasome .but due to other sponsership they cannot fly the heli that is too simple.

If ely.Q can afford Danny szabo and markus kim, to fly what looks like an ugly frankenstien raptor (IMO) Surely RJX could spring for a big name pilot...RJX Is a much bigger brand...

Also in HK used to be have a top pilot to fly xtreme 50, but at last he changed trex 600N, actually he said xtreme is more suitable but RJX dun have sponrship.I think many pilot want to have sponsor is not only for the money,is for honor.

What a shame that JaeHong Lee (12yrs old), the previous RJX pilot from Korea, won the 2007 3D master - Expert Class Champion. Not with a RJX machine but a JR's instead. . .

Phil Lennert from Australia, the No. 1 pilot of RJX as Frank said, we saw him flying TRex 700N now too...

The fact is a good machine need good pilots to promote it to make it more popular and leads more peoples to buy and feel how good is it!! Sponsor ONE more good pilot can get hundreds of followers, that's Align's marketing doing.

I fly X-Treme 50 and never fly other 50's anymore like Imloo3 said. It is really a good machine for beginners and 3D. We really want to see more peoples flying it!!

I personally think that a fair sponsorship deal would be...

The sponsored pilot would get free new helis for a start.......They should be paid to go and fly at events...eg 3d masters etc... If they happen to crash at an event parts are free....

However if there just back home mucking around with mates or whatever the parts should be at cost......

Dont forget we are only talking about "HElI" sponsorship here.... Other things like radio equipment and fuel blades etc..... Are another sponsorship deal all together...

Just my opinion.

BTW... I would class Nigel Brown as Australias "best" pilot IMHO..... Not many people have heard of phill Lenard over here. (only in Australia) I would say nobody over in NZ knows much of him...Only the guys that fly RJX machines.

And yes looks like Phill has become one of the many sheep joining the heard of align......Its a shame really.

I think Frank must show up in the 3D Master this year held at his home, Spain.

I wish Stefan Simmons will have good performance with his X-Treme 90!! He is our only HOPE... coz Luigi Rungi turns to T-Rex this year.

Remember, this is just my opinion:

I also believe that RJX really needs to get some dollars into marketing their helis and have a good hard think about how they are going to make their helis appeal to the mass market.
-Firstly, their website is average at best and doesn't promote the value of what you get in the kit. Take a look at the Blitz Avro site (http://www.blitz-helicopters.com/avro.htm), it turns me on just looking at the renders of the heli parts! You need to point out to people the advantages of the heli over the competitor's.
-Secondly they dont have well known pilot flying their heli's at big events. There's a saying in the car industry that goes something like "Win on Sunday, sell on Monday" and this is deffinitely applicable to RC helis. How many people went out and bought a 700N after Lucas Riva won the 3D Masters 2008? I certainly did and I know of at least 4-5 others who did as well!
-Thirdly, to compete against Align in the 90 size market you need to make the heli as attractive as possible: Price is one thing but the orange and yellow canopies look pretty amateur and really let down the visual appeal. Even if you have to add $40 to the total price, people will happily pay that for a fully painted, nice looking canopy even if it looks like everyone elses.

Cheers,

Fil

GREAT FRANK .
RJX HOBBY is ever near to costumers , BIG assistance and BIG support

The RJX Helicopter very fast . not have an compromission

RJX when sell an helicpoter not sell a machine but sell a son beacouse RJX HOBBY is a Family .

Mr. Frank is not first marketing operation , last year he invested in sponsor many hely kit , I think all guest know that story.

myself think is very important search not any pilot , but (MAN PILOT) In Italy first regulation is :
give before receiving, and giving pilots is their preparedness and experience, give before receiving, and giving pilots is their preparedness and experience, Ed RJX is always present, even in this period of change is the economic crisis.
