FBL and mechanical mix?
What systems apart from the CSM are available for non-CCPM heli's?

VBar works fine with it, you need to change swash, and if its not in one of the "buttons", you might need to configure distances etc of servos yourself, but its fully configurable, and doable.Gone fishing..or hunting..or something

I can not find anything in the V-bar that shows non-CCPM set-up. Has anyone actually done it?

I set up a R50 last year with the V-Bar. The best way of describing it is that it made the heli 'fly like a T Rex'.

There is a configuration file in my gallery (v3.6).

Using the Mikado TRex 600 conversion kit + Align 600 head block (actually, I used a QuickUK head block modified to resemble a Align 600 one) the whole mechanical system works really well. Servos require no linkage position modification for appropriate resolution. I think the only mod would be grinding the side frames for more pitch tray throw - something I was already doing - so not sure from memory if this was required for the flybarless setup or not. I am 12,000km from the heli so cant go and check ....

Overall a worthwhile change to the heli. You really require 8717's to make it all work really well. I had fun with inverted autos till I changed the auto 'bank' to classic mode.

Several Raptors are flying with SK360 and they all fly great. If you already have a good tail gyro that will save you some money. If you don’t have a rudder gyro then go with a 3-axis system.

Check out the Raptor forum for more information http://runryder.com/f33p1/
