Anyone, Hopefully someone from Mikado, can answer this question if they know for a fact the answer. Please no guesses...

WHY is all the news about the Mini-V say it is 'rated' for 500 class heli's and below?
Is it just the bus limitation of not being able to run higher than 6v? Are the sensors not as 'sensative'? Can someone give a solid reason?

Thanks!

The mini, in order to make it mini, has reduced vibration damping.

Electrics
So would it have been better to call it an electric version of Vbar.
.30 size helis can have vibrations also.

Technology, price point, form factor, marketing, and lack of desire to canibalize their own product line to name a few.

If they made it a complete package, the other solutions "could" become obsolete. It's also unrealistic to think that they can pack all the performance (given todays technology) into such a small package. There's always give and take.

I do think the all-in-one concept is a trendsetter and it will be the goal that all manufacturers strive for, provided that they can further refine the product, improve performance and lower the price... That's a TALL order.

Not a definitive answer, but I doubt they would openly come clean with all their motives...

In the meantime, let's enjoy the ride!!! It's all good!!!
