Hey all, in all seriousness how many of you can show me in the DX7 manual where it explains how to bind? I see where it explains about what binding does but I don't see where it explains how to do it. As I remember the DX6 did explain how to bind. What is up with that? I guess it's like all computer crap these days. The manuals tell you all about the functions of a product but don't explain how to do it. It must be a computer generation thing kind of like hitting the start button to stop or turn off the computer. The funny thing is that the start button on the screen has nothing to do with starting the computer. We are such suckers for buying all this junk and making the non intuitive thinking producers rich. Can you tell I hate computers? That's why I have a Mac because I can tolerate it a little better!Kenny Thompson

Yeap, page 18 it is! My memory must be failing me again. I might be thinking of the manual that came with the new rev limit receiver. I messed with that thing for a while before I got it to bind and I'm sure it was because there were no bind instructions for it. I'm pretty sure it didn't work the same way as a regular Spektrum receiver. It's actually confusing even though it's supposedly a simple thing to do. No one at my flying field knows how to bind, we all just mess with it until it works. Are we the only ones who have this problem? Computers suck!Kenny Thompson

fenderstrat, that's what the problem is/was! Page 18 shows Binding at the top followed by a paragraph explaining what binding does but the actual steps to perform the binding process seem to be under what one would think is the SmartSafe Fail Safe procedure. Is that what you are referring to? See, I'm all confused again!Kenny Thompson

fenderstrat, that sounds like a pretty good assumption and explanation to me. That's a good way to put it. Hey, are you one of those computer geeks?Kenny Thompson
