I got my hands on one of these and I am trying to figure out what the second line out is used for? Do I only need one line out to the receiver?
This BEC will hopefully be used on a Trex 500 esp.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Kevin

I don't understand the "second line out". You should have a pos. and neg. wire on a servo connector that goes to the batt or spare pins on the Rx. and the other wires are pos. and neg. to connect to the ESC batt connector.

Thanks for the reply Heli770.
This Bec has on one end 2 wires to go to esc and on the other end there are 2 lines out. Both of the have servo connectors on them.
I know one goes to the battery input on the receiver but cant figure the other out.
Just pulled up a pic of an AR 7000 and it has a battery/data port. I assume this is where the other out set of wires plugs into?

I see what you're saying about the twin out put leads. the manual is no help! You maybe right on the other connector to help it flow the 10amps(if needed). I'd say Get a hold of Western, then you can let all of us know the reason for it.

there are two lines to reduce line loss as much as possible, you can hook one or two up no diff, on some high draw systems two may be better simply as the draw is increased and in order to 100% ensure your selected voltage is secure and solid this "may" be needed. Run this exact BEC is my Logo 500 with 8717s vstabi etc, with zero issue, voltage holds like a rock! Also note you can hook power into "ANY" open port does not have to be the battery port, in fact I always leave that one open so binding is easy.

Here it is on a heli with "MUCH" more demand then your 500 rex...

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...
