i am to the point that i need an esc, i was told to get a tp 40

my local hobby shop does not have any of these in stock but they can order them

they do have a castle 35, 45, and 45hv

i was leaning towards the 45

what are your thoughts?
should i order up a tp40 and wait the extra couple days or just snag on of these in the morning?

or should i look at the scorpians?

IMO... TP40A is perfect for the RAVE in 4S setup. Very efficient, lot of power on -10/14T/350's. Some other people here report the same thing. Big difference with my CC35, my batteries seems to get a new life. It can seems a little bit strange, but it's a pleasant reality for me. I just feel it is not very linear, but I use flat curves only, 95% in ID1 and 100% in ID2, so it's not a problem. It's not heavy and is very cheap in comparison with CC45 for exemple.

Get the TP40, best bang for the buck, but, the CC45 will work great as well. Just cost a tad more..

My CC35 was ok, so Align 35 can be too. You can set max/min pitch to 10/11° instead 12° during first tests, and leave ESC protection if there's one. Then make climbouts and pitch pumping and observe ESC reactions : )

I don't think that is a true statement. I have fried 35a align controllers at 15a.
