After a mishap, I've decide to upgrade my 550 to a 620. I'm trying to get a parts list together to make this conversion. I have the following:

Carbon Frame
Tail Boom
Belt
Carbon Main Shaft Supports
Tail Boom Supports
Rudder Control Set

Do i need the auto rotation hub and gears, or can I leverage that from my 550.

What else am I missing from this list? Thanks

I've been told, I could get away with only changing the boom and belt. Looking at the specs both the 550 and 620 have the same physical height dimensions.

Let use know how that turns out for you

I have both machines Swift 550 and 620SE and have swapped parts back and forth to know what is needed.
You need the spacer for sure, I have used 550 shafts and got them to work with less pitch range.

""I've been told"" By who? Do they have or fly both machines?

The two machines look the same but are not. Please let use know how your conversion goes. please show us some pics after your done if you don't get the spacer. (would like to know how well it fits for you)

Cheers and good luck

Raven,
Basically what i'm doing is putting longer blades on my 550 and adding a longer boom. Not sure why I'd need a spacer, if I'm using all the stock parts that come with the 550 (gears and main shaft). If i've missed somehthing please point it out. Thanks

If your going to use the 620 frame, which is different from the 550 frame. You will need the spacer to have a proper mesh with you tail drive.

From your other post I was under the impression you were getting the 620 frame set as a replacement instead of another 550 set.
Which frame set do you have?...never mind I see you said "list"

If you just get another 550 frame set, you will not need the spacer or shaft mentioned.

Just boom, belt,and 550 frame
( no double main gear option though)

Hope this helps your decision on your purchase out.

I'll go with the 550 frame set, which will allow me to leverage most of my existing parts.
