500 swash issue
Just rebuilding the head on my 500 after my latest crash.

So I took the opportunity to replace with new links.when I connected the new links to the balls on the swash ,it would not rotate around, the links are hitting the bottom part of the swash and stopping it from rotating.

Could the 2 parts of the swash be knocked closer together in a crash therefore needing a new swash.Obviously the links are fine its just the swash. It also does have a nothcy feel to it.

It could be that there is dirt in the bearing or it is damaged. There is a thin metal bearing retainer that holds the bearings in place that could get damaged from a crash. I have that problem with my EVO now. I was having some strange radio interference and could not find the problem untill I noticed a thin metal retainer sticking out of the bearing on the swash. I replaced the swash and the radio noise went away.
