Has any one else had the rear tail case move around? there are 2 screws that go though the tube but there is slop in the holes. and the 4 screws on the clamp are as tight as I dare make them. any Ideas or recommendation's. its the closed case with metal tube.
here is a shot of it

You could turn the tube 90 degrees and drill another set of holes.

Masking tape
Take some masking tape and put it on the boom below the clamps. Then when you tighten them the boom will be "thicker" and the masking tape is sticky and non-slidable it won't turn any more.

Give it a try.

DON'T overtorque the two side screws that go into the tail case, you can strip those out if you do.

You could also use a piece of sand paper between the boom and case
.
I did that on an old Raptor and it worked great..

I have also used tape a few times. Works perfect, quick and easy.

I like quick and easy.

It fits like a glove
But the problem is that the boom is slippery, especially the aluminum one. But I'll pass the info back to Minair next time I call them to make them aware of it. Feedback is always good to make revisions on the product.

I think goop would work well here also. Works well for bearings in plastic bearing blocks, so should work for this application as well.

Yes of course
I have/used a CF booms on my gassers. They look better and work pretty nice. You don't have to worry about the boom pulling out of the mechanics end with them. On the tail case side I still use masking tape on that though.
