We did strip the stock plastic pulley on 6th flight on the pulley. Since then, only metal pulleys are on there.

That is definitly due to the head speed. I know, been there, done that. I now keep the head speed down to around 2000 to 2100 tops. Those couple of extra hundred RPM tend to eat stuff, quickly.

So far I have over 5 gallons on my NSP and have not once had a problem with the gears stripping.

I was worried about it when I bought it,but being so light the heli hangs at the end on auto's and allows me to stop the tail from dragging.

I probably should knock on wood because this weekend I will probably strip the gears out!!

i dont think u will strip any gear if u just fly it, as long u didnt touch the tail rotor blade to the gorund u will be OK, i have even try running my heli with 2250 HS with YS 50 (i know it overkill the engine but it just a try out for just a tank of flight) and now am running the heli with 2150HS with no gear stripping,

I only strip the gear if i hit the tail to the ground
