Hi guys,

I wanted to share this with you and hoping making you laugh!

This is my 1st nitro heli... so the first time I used a hot shot too! With the engine in my hand and looking my the exhaust hole, I saw the light produced by the glow plug in the piston chamber. I called my wife to look at this and see how cool it is. You know what she said? "What is that for? For giving you light while you're working on the heli?"

I don't think she is real interested.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

LOL
Never realized that you might be able to see that. It's also a deafening experience to be that close to an engine without exhaust? Amazing that your wife would even come close to it

He said the engine was in his hand. I don't think he was running it at the time. I'm betting he was just holding the engine and hooking up the glow igniter and he could see the light from the glow plug.

Saturday morning I flew my helicopter in my pajamas
How it got in my pajamas I'll never know

Cox .049
A long while back when I first got into the hobby I noticed that you could see the light in an .049 through the exhaust ports. More amazingly, to me anyway, at night you can see the glow when the engine is running with out the glow battery hooked up. Yeah my neighbors hated me.

Ah thanks I was reading too much in it. He did not mention a glow driver attached and I did not see any other way to get it glowing than to run the engine
