Well, in 'Mistress' category I have just become the owner of a Wren Turbine...just sorting out another Predator airframe to put it in

Thats two ladies for me...well two large ladies One Pred gasser and one Turbine....funny thng is....my real Lady doesnt yet know!

Get that 700 out! one of my friends is building one at work...its a work of art...all those alloy parts for the rotor head....it is superb.

I know a guy who 3D's this type heli, says it runs like its on rails...so very precise and stable.

Quality takes........time!

3dricky,
I just built my first 90 over Christmas holiday this year too. It is a trx 700 as well. I love the bird. I am a very nervous flier. I like the bigger visibility of it. Also, aside from the stability of it, it doest make sudden quick moves like a 450 class heli does. I am working on flips and I notice it flips MUCH nicer than my 600n. Slower, but doesnt act like it wants to fall out of the sky during the flip..

Take it easy. Turn the rates/pitch down at first if you need to.

Good luck.

When I first started flying my 700, it was pretty intimidating. I went from a 600 electric to the 700. At the time, I'd say I was intermediate like yourself but a little better now. It didn't take too long to get a feel for the helicopter and now it is my bitch instead of the other way around.

So, just take some time to get used to how it feels. Stay within your comfort level until muscle memory takes over and you are confident that you can recover quickly and keep the helicopter in control. It won't take long but you need to get more time with it.

You do need to be a bit careful though, this helicopter can be expensive to repair. It can be devastating mentally and monetarily if you hurt it bad.

Many years ago I built a new heli spent so much money on it and flew it around like Grandma was driving. and then my G.F. left me and I took my heli out and flew it with a vengence flipped it, rolled it I really didnt care what happened and in fact, I think I was subconsciously trying to crash it.... Ive never looked back since.
Woman have a way of breaking the constraints of fear with your Heli. I used to just hover around and keep here upright.....then my fiancée did me a favor and primed me up for the flight of my life!
It only takes one flight with no fear (however you have to do it) and fear will be gone! Crashing is part of it, another big thing that helped me was leave the bling off the heli, every bird has an expiration date on her from the day she gets put together, this way you won't get attached and when she goes in.....you wont have to clean the mud off your bling parts

It's only a toy...FLY IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!!!

Yes, I am intermediate.

You were going to take the bird out last weekend. What's the report?

How did it go?

You should try the Miniature Aircraft X Cell Stratus heli instead.
LMAO, yeah, that's only a mortgage payment to put back together

My second and third 50 sized birds X-cell 46 and Graphite Pro 46....

Graphite pro ARF......$1200
First crash...........$480
Bent frame 46 after a crash..$didn't bother

Selling the Xcell's and getting a 600n....$ Hurt my feelings

Loosing the pucker factor after owning a cheap bird....$Priceless!

It's only a toy...FLY IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!!!

the flight was great. Locks really well in the over and forward and backward flight are really stable. Going to go through a few more tanks of fuel before i can realy fling it around because the engine isnt quite giving all the power that i want.

went really well though. Its the first time i have flown it since my accient because one of the bom stays dropped down on final approach and on landing i drifted the wrong way so it caused it to go through the tail rotor destryiong the blades. but so on the heli is perfect and has set a place in my mindf to be one hell of an awesome machine.

i really like the aesthetics of the gear on it. It looks just like it was meant for the machine.
