I hear about certain brand rc helicopters being streched to the very next size, or there about. Is it possible to strech a TT e325 anymore then it already is?

I know it would be more benificial to buy the next size up, but that is not my question.

I really doubt if there's a conversion kit for that. Usually it's a 30-50 conversion or 60-90 because the airframe is already the right size. The "stretching" is just adding a longer boom, blades, and different gearing.

A 450 is a 450.

Basically your "conversion kit" would be a new kit.

That's all I was really thinking, a longer boom, with slightly bigger blades, and motor, and that is it.

The theroy behind streching out a heli is quite simple....You want to use longer main blades (350mm) so you also need to use a longer boom and belt. You will need to investigate what will work with the TT e325. Mabey check out the G5 stuff...see if thats compatible (it's a streched 450.) If the boom is the same diamerter, and the belt is compatible, your good to go. In addition to blades and boom you may want to up you power system to a 4s or 6s.

T-Rex 450 SE V2 , T-Rex 600 NSP, Stryker F27 C....Yea, it's a plank.

I stretched this Kyosho EP400XP a couple of years ago. The original kit would swing 280 mm blades, I stretched it to swing 325's, same as my Trexes. All it took was a Hirobo Lepton tail boom (proper diameter, and long enough to be useful), the ability to locate a source of Mitsuboshi S3M metric timing belts, some measuring followed by cutting the new tailboom to length and adding some strategically placed notches and holes to match the frame and tail rotor case.

Well I stand corrected. When you asked about "stretching it out" I assumed you'd meant you wanted to make a 500 out of it. Didn't think about 350mm blades. I still can't imagine there's a kit to do it though. You'd probably just have to mix and match parts from other helis.

Cool thread though. I never ever considered doing this to a 450. fwiw 6s is WAAAAAAYYYYY overkill for any 450 imo.

You should check out the G5. It is a streched 450 and is a rocket on 6s. Outrage makes a new 6s 1300mAh pack. It's only a tiny bit heavier than my KP 3s 2200mAh packs. In addition to the G5, I have also seen a T-Rex 450 (on 325s) using a 6s. The thing is pretty amazing. Don't knock it till ya try it.

I wonder if any of the Rave parts would work. The Rave can swing 350mm blades stock so it must have a longer boom and all. Ahh screw it just buy the whole damn heli. Those Raves look bad ass. haha
